I have been practicing law since the year 2005, when I graduated from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall). After working for large prestigious firms, in 2011, I formed my own firm, J A Burns Law. Shortly after that, I formed Burns Loew, where I practiced from mid-2011 to 2016. From 2013-2015, I was selected a Rising Star Superlawyer by my colleagues, and in 2016, I was selected as a Superlawyer.
I live in nearby Mountain View, California. Prior to law school, I worked for five years at KPMG LLP. I obtained my undergraduate from Brown University in 1997. In 1993, I graduated from Horace Mann School, in Riverdale, New York.
I routinely help clients with disputed probate, conservatorship, powers of attorney, and trust and estate matters, as well as civil litigation.
